Michelle has proven experience deploying solutions for our customers, combining her deep understanding of customers’ needs with AES global resources and local expertise.

Since joining AES in 2015, Michelle has worked in partnership with customers, leaders and regulators co-creating solutions that respond to growing energy needs while delivering smarter, cleaner and reliable energy that are both environmentally and economically viable.

Under her leadership, she accelerated transformation with commercial and industrial customers through natural gas platforms and renewable portfolios. Through all her efforts, she helps to lower carbon emissions, achieving customers’ energy goals and accelerate digital transformation.

Michelle brings her deep experience in the energy industry to AES. Prior to joining AES, she worked with EDEEste and Edesur leading teams in commercial, customer service, market operations and technical support to solve evolving energy needs for corporate, government and municipal customers.

Originally from the Dominican Republic, Michelle holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Universidad Nacional Pedro Henriquez Ureña and a master’s degree in Renewable Energy from EOI in Spain. She continued her education through executive business and leadership programs at Franklin Covey, Apec and Barna Business School.
